Pinelands Montessori is an Independent School located at Oude Molen Eco Village in Pinelands and was founded by Karima Loghdey.

Since its establishment in 2001, Pinelands Montessori’s aim has been to provide an environment where children aged between 2 and 12 years old have the opportunity to experience the benefits of a Montessori education in a nurturing and inviting co-educational environment.

Community

Pinelands Montessori is a close-knit community of parents, staff and students. We strive to assist children to develop to their full potential, to be happy and content, to grow in knowledge and confidence and to have respect for themselves and for others. Our nurturing environment provides children with a broad, harmonious, and holistic education.

Education

Montessori education is unique, based on the discoveries and insights of Dr. Maria Montessori who observed natural child development and designed and implemented an educational method devoted to the individual needs of the child, fostering cooperation, responsibility and independence.

Environment

We have a large grassed outside play area which includes a jungle gym, sandpit, trampoline and various other play and exercise equipment.

Classrooms

Our classrooms are equipped with Montessori teaching apparatus. Our classrooms can accommodate 24 children, each with a qualified Directress and Assistant.
